Neighbourhood Wardens projects funded by Stavros Niarchos Foundation 

Thanks to Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Help the Aged will be able to launch six new Neighbourhood Wardens projects over the next two years.

Neighbourhood Wardens provide a visible, uniformed, semi-official presence in residential and public areas with the aim of reducing crime and fear of crime, deterring anti-social behaviour and fostering social inclusion. Their purpose is to improve quality of life and contribute to the regeneration of an area.
