Help the Aged, BAA and Age Concern logos

BAA Charity of the Year 2009

BAA is aiming to raise £200,000 for Help the Aged and Age Concern through customer and staff fundraising activity. Planned activity includes bucket collections, foreign currency recycling, golf days and quiz nights.

BAA Charity of the year partnership launchTwo million older people will go a whole month without seeing anyone. All funds raised from the BAA partnership will go towards combating isolation and loneliness amongst the ageing community.

The income raised will pay to train volunteers and run services such as befriending schemes to ensure that for those older people have no family or friends, they have a link to the outside world and someone to talk to.
